Vents, fans, lights, beams, signs and the tops of TVs. That's everything above eye level, and it's on nobody's cleaning list.

Questions, answered

What is Above Eye Level Cleaning?

Above Eye Level Cleaning (AELC) is the professional cleaning of every surface and object above normal eye level in a commercial building: HVAC registers and returns, lights, fans, TVs, cameras, speakers, signs, beams, pipes, exposed ductwork and ceilings.

Is it really just dust up there?

Not just dust. University studies show indoor dust is a mix of fibers, skin flakes, tracked-in soil, outdoor pollution and thousands of kinds of bacteria and fungi. Nobody knows exactly what's in a particular building's overhead dust without testing, which is why we remove it.

How do you clean above eye level?

With the AELC Source-Control Method: HEPA source-capture vacuums and damp microfiber take the dust out of the building instead of knocking it onto desks, shelves and people. Technicians work with feet on the floor whenever practical.

Do you work after hours?

Yes. Work is scheduled when your space is closed, so your business never slows down, and every visit is documented with before-and-after photos.

How often should it be done?

A typical schedule is every three months for busy spaces and every six to twelve months for lighter-use buildings. Your local provider sets a schedule with you.

Who does the work?

AELC Certified Providers: independently owned local cleaning companies trained and tested in the AELC Source-Control Method. Each sets its own prices and contracts directly with you.

Is AELC only in Fort Lauderdale?

No. Above Eye Level Cleaning is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the AELC network is growing across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Mexico. Check your ZIP or postal code on our site to see who serves your area.

I own a cleaning company. Can I get a page like this?

Yes. AELC members get their own Front Door page, a branded video, training, the AELC Certified credential and member tools for a $79 setup and $179 a month. Any inquiries your page brings in are yours, with no per-lead fees; AELC does not guarantee any number of inquiries or jobs.
